History

Ok, im going to write a year by year history of my anime/AMV life...

1996-1999 *maby earlier* - my friend introduced me to anime, i had watched speed racer before then, and i really liked it. My friend showed me anime's like DBZ... and well.. i wasnt to impressed.. about a month later i started watching certain anime's like Sailor Moon, and then DBZ.. wll i liked Sailor Moon and i didnt care much for DBZ... then my friend showed me some DBZ music vids... after that i watched DBZ and started to get hooked.. soon after i started making AMV's using the 2 VCR method.. rigging up everything i could just so i could get a decent video...

2000 - Well after making tons of amvs on 2 VCR's i wanted to have more control with what i was doing. i soon found a program called Ulead Video Studio. I downloaded the free trial and i was hooked.. i was kinda mad i could only make/export 30 seconds in the trial, so i decided to buy the program. right after the program arrived, i threw it in the computer and started editing. about a week after learning the program i had my first AMV... *i consider it my first cause it was the first using a comp* I was so proud i had made a music vid! i soon made about 5 more... from October 22, 2000 until January 2001 i had thrown together 16 vids... and they didnt all suck.. i was proud of myself! I had 3 different screen names at the time, so i used them all for my vids, mainly because i didnt know which one to use, so i used different ones...Prince Trunks was the first name i used. I didnt care much for it so i used it on like only 2 or 3 vids.. The next name i used was Duo~Maxx, This one i stuck with for a while.. but I had to let it go because its too much like duo maxwell... from GW... So I used Bullseye mainly... *16 videos for 2000*

2001 - i continued to make amv's, dropped a few more friends... and well... i got got much better... i soon purchased a capture card *Dazzle $50 wal-mart* it captured HORRIBLE quality... i couldnt get anythin good out of it.. around january i met my sisters new boyfriend and he helped me! he told me his friend had a program called Adobe Premiere... i had heard about it and i heard it was really good.. he brought it over one night and let me make a back up copy of it... but i didnt use it until March. I was still trying to toy around with my capture card and stuff.. and i couldnt figure it out! so i decided to buy the Matrox Rainbow Runner that Aluminum Studios had recommended.. after ordering it, i realized i could capture pretty good quality with my dazzle if i used Ulead to capture it... long story short, i got the rainbow runner, and the quality was MUCH better! after i got the rainbow runner i started captureing and editing.. i decided to try out premiere *after reading aluminum's guide* March 18th i made my first video amv using premiere... March 20th i finished my last video using Ulead Video Studio... Late 2001 i had made about 8 videos, and they were the best videos i had made... but then.. the computer crashed... and well... i lost those video... pissed me off.. but then i heard about a contest at Anone's DBZ.. and i set out to make a video for it.. *25 videos for 2001*

2002 - Well as the contest deadline neared i started pumping videos out left and right. the entry date was Feb 1st. i finished atleast 4 videos before the contest... but i deleted my Korn video...2 nights before the entry date i decided i would try to finish a video for the contest... i stayed up for 12 hours capturing.. then slept for about 10 hours.. then started editing... i edited for about 8 hours and i finally pushed out a decent contest video... at the time, i thought it was one of the greatest videos ever.. but it wasnt... they never picked a winner for their contest.. but they had 5 finalists... i was one of them.. that made me feel happy... So i pushed on and made more and more amv's... I got amv4000.com in april and posted my videos online... I was very happy to be hosted.. i could finally put my videos online... In May i signed up for Job Corps *not recommended* i was told it was supposed to be a great fun expirence... it was fun... but some of the people were assholes.... *65% of the people* almost nobody wanted to be there... but i did my time *went in for A+ but the class was full till like may 2003, i wasnt gunna stay there that long..* i took a medical type thing... got my little cirtificate... and got the hell out of there *august - february* In September i got word from my host... a video my friend influenced me to make got my site shut down.. the 1 video pulled 40 gigs of bandwidth.. and my other vids pulled about 40 gigs all together.. i was allowed 40 gigs of bandwidth.. and after 2 weeks of september i used 80 gigs... so i got shut down... In October i met a girl in St. Louis.. *i was in kentucky at the time... and i knew her from online for about 2 or 3 years* me and my mom went over to six-flags St. Louis and me and her met at Six-Flags...well long story short me and her started dating...I made a video called My December dedicated to her... *13 videos for 2002*

2003 - THE BEST YEAR! Ok, so me and jen kept dating until like.. july.. *i hadnt gone out with anyone for like.. 5 bajillion years before this..* we had a lot of fun, I got a job in March and i really liked it, but we had to move to Indiana, and i was 2 more hours away from jen... but i was working with horses, me and my mom were both working at the same place.. and the work was fun for us both.. i would go out to St. Louis about once a month if i could and see jen... *5 hour drive there, 5 hour drive back* I liked the working cause i could make amv's at night, work in the day, and i had enough time to do whatever i wanted... After seeing the movie DareDevil, i noticed more and more "Bullseye"s popping up... soi knew i had to again change my name... but this time i wanted something that would last a while... I already had amv4000.com, and my amv.org profile was amv_4000, so i wanted something that started with an A... A something Music Videos 4000... as time went by i decided, why not be Addiction.. Addiction is a big part of a lot of peoples lives... and everyone hates their Addiction...well long story short, we moved back to Georgia in August, shortly after jen broke up with me... but it allowed me to go to AWA... i got to meet some VERY important people... like Pilkington and Danny Willson, and Hitori, and even Mexican Jr. I gave them a CD of some of my videos... as well as AMV's that i was working on... a few weeks later, i got instant messages from Pilkington and MJ telling me to Finish *Mario, Crying Angel, and my Carebears Video..* well i finished Crying Angel in October... and well... it's gotten a great responce from people.. and from October 27 to November 22 i finished 9 videos.. 4 of which a LOT of people have said they like... the other.. well their not terrible.. In December me and Pilk were talking and we decided to do/start Hentai Iron Chef... *and Project 3 way* well late December Hentai Iron Chef was created.. and well... i won... *17 Videos for 2003*

2004 - GREAT YEAR!! well to kick off the new year me and pilk and his friend went to atlanta... when we got home we decided to start another contest... King Of Spayn *you start your video at midnight new years.. and they are due on the 7th day... they have to be foreign songs... italian, spanish, or latin sounding... mine was italian, pilks was canadian *but it sounded spanish* and sputniks was Spanish. and well.. i won that contest too... so i am the reigning King of Spayn* well as the year went on i continued to edit.. then i was challenged by Destination Skyline... A Hentai Iron Chef video contest... and well... i won that one too.. but The publix sub was the dominant one here.. anyways after that i went down to Florida for Anime Express! and well.. i entered like.5 of my vids there.. but they could only play 2 of mine... so they played King Of Spayn, and NOBODY got it... Pilkington won Best Comedy for his Yatta! video.. and i won Best overall with Crying Angel.. i was REALLY happy about that! that night i met a really nice girl and well.. me and her keep in touch *aim kissyface* Me and pilk then finished a video called Fappage *forgot about Pilkington project, Addiction gets-to edit-too..* not really well thought out name.. but it was just about how im the eminem and he is the dre of amv's.. *funny cause long ago i made an eminem vid...* anyways, there was another Iron chef *non hentai* and they wanted me to head it up.. so i did.. but i made a vid too... and well... nemo is great... but i think the trigun vid won... April 22-23 was hentai Iron Chef 3, Sputnik vs. Pilk vs. Tardo. No winner decided yet... April 26th Tardo vs. Addiction. no winner yet. After the Iron chef i went on to make many other amv's.. then AWA deadlines came up, so i scrambled to finish about 5 vids for AWA, My pro vid, 2 RVG vids, Mario, and a few others... the year treated me good, and AWA was a blast.*35 Vids for 2004*

2005 - Well as we entered the year, the 2nd anual King of Spayn contest hit, and this year, i lost the crown to Mr. Pilkington. I have a job now so its hard to edit, i think i've made like 4 vids this year, in 3 months... Then Anime Express hits... totally bad ass. The con was a blast, we took over a room and had amv pannels and hmv pannels. This is where the AMV studio is getting it main start, CBR. We originally came up with the idea before AWA, but, didnt think it would work then. At AE i won Best Comedy as Tardo, took home lots of shame.. and for the next few months me and pilk scrambled to get members for Chaotic Bad-Raptor.. May 1st, Me vs. SNH Knives, non hentai Iron Chef Rematch! he defeats me, and plugs my computer into the internet, i get viruses, i LOSE ALL OF MY AMVS... not the downloaded ones, no.. all 876 of my downloaded amvs are fine... but the ones i've made... the 120 amvs of my creation.... are now dead.. so i figure its a good time to call it quits with amvs, and worry about life, and my new studio.. i may miss amvs a little, but hey, it was fun while it lasted.. (October 2005- I have been reconstructing my amvs, i have been finding cds with my old videos on them, and with all of the videos i have found im only missing 19, and some are online! I started to edit again, and when i hit my 5 year mark on Oct. 22, a new side was shown, i got my inspiration back.. for a year i have been without inspiration, but i finally had what i needed. I quickly needed to remake my title, normally this would mean switching names, but in this case...a simple change of my logo, and an opening quote.. and im back! I made 9 videos the first 2 weeks after the 22nd, and with this renewed spirit... Addys back! We finished the Left right project FINALLY! Then i challenged everyone in the studio to H-IC... Pilk accepted.. then he broke his comp so i won by default... Still Undefeated! And thats all for 2005! *33 Vids for 2005*

2006 - KOS Has came and went, I finished my videos for it and Lost to a MUCH better video by Toothpickvic... Congrats to him. In January I finished 4 videos, 148-151 So I now have over 150 amvs... this is a landmark for me.. but not a stopsign.. *4 Vids for 2006*
